We Believe
Oral Health Belongs in the Community
Oral Health Home was built on a simple but powerful idea: that preventing oral disease is always better than treating it — and that prevention should happen where people live, learn, and grow.
We're not a dental clinic. We're oral health therapists who work the way allied health has always worked: meeting people where they are, building trust over time, and making a real difference in people's daily lives.
How we started
With over 50 years of combined clinical experience, Carol and Leigh have spent their careers at the intersection of oral health and community wellbeing — in schools, disability services, aged care, and community hubs across South East Queensland.
Oral Health Home grew from years of preventive programs in the Logan region, one of Queensland's most diverse communities. The evidence was consistent: early intervention works. It saves children from pain. It saves families from the trauma of avoidable procedures. It saves the health system from expensive, preventable admissions.
So they built something different — a service that looks and feels like allied health, because that's exactly what it is.

Meet the team
What makes us different
We are oral health therapists — AHPRA registered dental professionals who are focused entirely on prevention, education, and early intervention. We don't drill or fill. We guide, support, and equip.
We collaborate with occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, aged care nurses, classroom teachers, and disability support workers. Oral health is part of whole-person wellbeing — and we treat it that way.
When someone needs dental treatment, we refer to the right person. We're part of your whole body health system, not separate from it.
